From Pat
My dear friend Pat brought me this pretty tulips to work last week. I helped her out with a little 'project' and received these in return. Definately not necessary, but loved and enjoyed them thoroughly.
pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our sins.
thank you, sweet Jesus, thank you. Going to bed tonight feeling undeserved of the gift I have been given....

Really???? I'm doing WHAT????
You have heard me rave about it. You have been to my house and wondered what on earth smells sooo awesome. You have came to me to find out how to get your own. You too are fearful and tired of flaming candles. You love Scentsy as much as I do.
And now, I am selling it. Honestly, I have never sold a thing in my life. I am not a 'salesperson'. But, I love this stuff and I want to share it with everyone I know. See my previous post here about Scentsy.
My sister-in-law introduced me to it. And she has been so supportive of my decision to jump into this with both feet, ready to hit the ground running. We are in this together in a combined effort to share a great product with all of our friends and family.
If you would like to check it out or are interested in hosting a Scentsy event let me know. You will love it, promise.....

Ahhh...finally
We had a weekend with no illness, got some good outside time for everyone yesterday, and the contractor is coming to finish the bathroom ceiling tomorrow afternoon. I will paint it Tuesday night and once the crown molding is up it will be DONE! Then it will be time to start concentrating on the yard and landscaping. It looks like I will be mulching a lot this year. And, I hate mulching. So, you will hear me whine about that for the next couple of weeks. Althought it sounds as if we could be shoveling snow instead of mulching. One thing after another around here. Does it ever end?

Almost done
Still just a bit of work to be done on this bathroom that turned into a much bigger project than anticipated. Still have to have the guy out to finish the ceiling. And, the flooring will remain as is as long as this place is for sale. If it doesn't sell and we end up staying than we will probably put in a new floor, but for now it will stay. These pictures don't really do it justice. It turned out very nice all things considered. I am forever indebted to those who helped me out, Dave, Jay, Kurt. Without them, I would probably still be plugging along, frustrated and ready to pull my hair out. And yes, the exposed brick will remain exposed. Old house people, I know you understand. Everyone else, I'm sure you think this is a little too far on the rustic side. But, I love it. There is so, so much that I will miss about this place.....
'New' Bike
Creighton got a new bike for Christmas. He is finally getting to ride it a bit and after getting used to it he has decided that he likes it. Tonight he wanted to ride by himself to Gene's (our neighbor-which to us means only 1/2 mile down the road). I didn't let him. After all, he's just a baby isn't he???
