Adventureland

We just got back from a couple of days at Adventureland. Had a great time. Believe it or not, I didn't take many pictures. We were in and out of the water so much that I just didn't feel like messing with hauling my camera around and trying to keep it dry. So just a few shots here and there. We just got home and unpacked and now I have to get supper cooked and get the house ready for an open house on Saturday. I took this whole week off of work--can't believe that it is coming to an end already. Ugh.

Dinner at the fire tonight

Tonight we burned a bunch of the branches that we lost during the storm. Hence, dinner of roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. Nobody complained....

Not tired....

So, it's about 12:30am. I have to get up for work in just a few hours however, I haven't went to bed yet. I am not tired. I am bored and nobody is blogging :) I don't have the brainpower to mess with my pictures at this hour. But, I am not tired. And, tomorrow I will be exhausted. I guess some days are just like this. It really kind of stinks. Guess I'll see what's happening on HGTV.....

Sidetracked...

We were SUPPOSED to be getting the house ready to show tomorrow, but instead we were doing this.......

which in turn means that now it's almost 10pm, everyone is sleeping, the kitchen still needs cleaned and I am on the computer. It will be a late night tonight and an early morning tomorrow. But, the fun we had in the pool this afternoon and evening was well worth the too little sleep that I will get tonight.

West Liberty Pool

After it got exceptionally hot at the fair and we had our fill of junk food and 4-H animals we headed to the pool in West Liberty. It is a nice little pool, never many people there and typically I don't know anyone so I'm ok with wearing my bathing suit despite how I look in it :)
