Our new 'ride'

Well, when I mentioned that we are former river rats who have 'boat fever' again, I wasn't kidding. Therefore, we now own this......
Greg coming in to pick us up at the dock and the kids waiting for their first ride in the new boat!

our super cool 'tube'. this provided alot of entertainment today--for the little kids and the big kids :)

Took it out for the first time today and had a good time. The weather was ok, not perfect, water is starting to come up, but tubing was fabulous. The kids had a blast. The only problem....this boat is a BEAR to trailer. Ugh. It's gonna take some practice getting this big dog on the trailer on the first shot.

Night Swimming

We got our pool in and the kids have been making good use of it! Not sure where Colby was this night, but most nights they swim til bedtime!

A second place finish

These girls have worked extremely hard this season. The improvement is nothing short of amazing. The Iowa Games Tournament resulted in a trip to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! They lost 1-3 in the final game, but they were so excited to make it that far. And no one was disappointed with a second place finish. Enjoyed the weekend so much, but looking forward to a little break before she's back at it.

My 22

While Creighton was playing in Davenport all weekend, Colby and I were in Ames while she played in the Iowa Games Tournament. It was her best performance ever in the batter's box. She crushed the ball all weekend. So proud of her. It was hot. They played ALOT of games. We were able to stay with my nephew Damon and enjoyed our time with him as well. It was fun to have a weekend with just the two of us. A long weekend, a long drive, a lot of heat, but wouldn't trade it for anything.

More baseball

The cute sisters of some cute lil baseball players. These two entertain eachother quite nicely during long tournaments.
So proud of each medal he gets. Even if it is just a participation medal. Suits him all the same.

Lil 6er and his daddy....

Love, love, LOVE having these two on the ballfield together. Something special about seeing your son being coached by his daddy. It's awesome. They are a good pair. Don't always see eye to eye, but they 'get' eachother. Couldn't ask for a better coach or a better little ballplayer. Sad it's over, yet ready for a little free time to relax.

June, where'd you go?????

This summer is absolutely flying by. June was somewhat of a blur for us. Started out with school going way too long into June. Lots of ball games and weekend tournaments for both kids. Greg going to his annual Michigan trip with the guys and coming home to land himself in the hospital for a time. Finally got back to health and back on the ballfield most weekends. We finally took a little time to ourselves the first weekend in July and went to Key Lime Cove and Six Flags. This is about the extent of my pics during that little getaway. I put the camera away and enjoyed our time with the kids. Waterslides and amusement park rides....fun for all.
