A Big Thank YOU is due.....
to Dave and Greg. I bought a pool. A big one. In a town. Um, 4 hours away. Yeah. I know. (I really should stay off of Craigslist). They both took the day off work. Got up and left super early. Gave up their entire day. Traveled for a total of 8 hours. Worked hard getting it loaded up. Got home late. Exhausted. And, now the work begins at home in order to get this thing installed.
I must say, I am a lucky girl. With some great guys in my life. How thankful I am for them.

Scrimmage
Creighton had a practice game this morning. It was his first time on the 'big field', playing a 'real' game against a 9& under traveling team. He was pretty nervous. His first two at bats he danced in the batter's box, swung pretty unconfidently and hit little dinkers. Got on base, but not the prettiest form or powerful hits. His third time at bat he found some confidence, swung hard and hit the ball hard. Hopefully, once he gets a few more of those under his belt he will take off and fly....
River Bandits Game
The kids get to go to a Bandits game with their school as a reading incentive. I was able to go with them this year. For Colby, it's a social event and the game is 'beside the point'. And Creighton, knew every out, every pitch and every hit. He loved it.

Whirlwind
Things have kind of been a whirlwind for me lately hence the lack of updates! Yesterday I went to the River Bandits game with the kids. Pics to come later on that. Today we have a 5:45pm house showing. If you think about it throw a quick prayer about that.

Easter
We had a quick change of plans and decided to have our Easter celebration at our house today. That way the kids could play outside, ride the 4-wheeler, have an egg hunt, etc. We thought it was supposed to be a little warmer and sunny, but it was still nice enough to grill and be out. The kids were wanting to ride Blaze, but we didn't get him out today. We deviated a bit from a traditional Easter morning. We stayed home, didn't get all dressed up and rush out the door, had steaks on the grill vs. an Easter ham. Despite all that we did or didn't do today, we are still so very thankful for the One that took our place on the Cross....
From Pat
My dear friend Pat brought me this pretty tulips to work last week. I helped her out with a little 'project' and received these in return. Definately not necessary, but loved and enjoyed them thoroughly.
