It's Friday night so that must automatically mean sleepover at the Carlson's. (which is fine by us!) The girls decided we should make ice cream tonight. So we brought the recipe from Jescie's house, went to the store and after dinner we made ice cream. It was easy and fun for the kids. It tasted MUCH better than when they did it at school last fall. They had fun measuring, pouring and shaking.
It only took three ingredients and about 10 minutes to do. Creighton fell asleep while he waited for me to finish shaking his so he didn't get to have any. He will probably ask for it first thing in the morning though!
I'm glad these simple things are good enough for their Friday night entertainment!
