Today Jean and her cousin came to visit our place. Her great grandparents and other ancestors owned our house and property from 1852 to about 1920 or so. She wanted to see the banister she remembered her mother telling her that she slid down as a young child. She also presented us with some paperwork that is original to the house. We enjoyed visiting with her and getting a little history lesson about our house.
