I know no other way than to make it out of a box.
A really good mom would have ground the flower out back on a rock. Were those store bought eggs?? Wow, its worse than I ever thought:)
I'll have you know I've made a cake with my own ground flour...and the cake was from scratch. :) But I'm sure I spent much more time in the kitchen and much less time building relationships with those around me. :) Way to go Heather!
Actually, the eggs come from the neighbor's chickens. We just take our carton down there and fill up with fresh eggs - $1.00/dz.
That counts for SOMEthing doesn't it? I'm sure the farm fresh eggs must make the box cake taste better, right? :)
