Creighton had his 4 year check-up today. He is in the 95th percentile on height and 93rd percentile on weight. So he is very tall for his age and his weight is just about perfect for his height. Thankfully he must have the Kaalberg gene for height as many of the Kaalberg men are/were very tall. One concern I had was his continued respitory issues. His doctor is watching him to figure out if his respitory issues are related to his allegies or if he has a form of asthma. She gave me Zyrtec for allergy and if that doesn't help his symptoms we will try the inhaler to see which medication alleviates his symptoms. If neither of those work she will investigate a little further. He used a nebulizer with albuterol for much of his infancy, but we hadn't needed it for a long time. So, we'll see what happens. Not life threatening, but it will be nice to be able to help him. He was not so happy to get 4 shots today plus a finger prick for a blood test. All four shots in the legs. He is very sore tonight. He was limping around then he said he just wanted to lay on the couch so his legs didn't hurt. It's hard to explain to a 4 year old that a shot is good for him. Hopefully, tomorrow is a better day.....
