Figures....

We haven't turned our air-conditioner on yet. This morning when I woke up it was only 78 degrees in here. That is normally what we keep the a/c on anyway. There is a lot to be said for the constant country breeze we have, ceiling fans in almost every room and it helps that the humidity is still pretty low. I can handle being hot, just not the hot/sticky combo. So today I heard it is supposed to stay hot with humidity increasing. So of course I thought I would stay ahead of it and get the a/c going before it got miserable in here and then the poor old unit would have to really work to get it cool. Yeah right. No such luck. It's dead. The repairman came to look at it. It has to be replaced. Creighton was told this morning that he was getting a new air conditioner instead of a horse. He just said, "ok". Probably for the best anyway....
