I am off work today in preparation for the big wedding event this weekend. Today Colby is getting her nails done. Hopefully, it will last until tomorrow without all chipping off. I am going to have to convince her to not swim today. Rehearsal tonight with dinner to follow in Coralville. Then tomorrow she gets her hair done at 11am. Pictures will be at 1:30pm with the wedding at 4pm. Then reception in Coralville. It's going to be a long day, but I am sure the kids will be up to it. Colby is excited. She tried on her dress last night after I panicked and realized I had not picked it up or taken her in for her last fitting--oops :) Thankfully, Hazel was working late and the dress fit perfectly--no further alterations needed. Whew!
Then Sunday we will be heading to the Muscatine County Fair Horse Show. It will be a nice afternoon to hang out at the fair after the busyness of today and tommorrow.
Monday I have a golf outing for work so that will be a fun day too. It's been awhile since I've played so I think I need to go out and hit a bucket of balls sometime Sunday in an effort to NOT embarrass myself on Monday :) Greg starts his new job Monday so we are getting anxious for that too.
Then Friday we are taking the kids and friends to Adventureland for the weekend. Starting Friday the 27th I am on vacation and won't go back to work until August 5th. Not sure what all we are going to do that week, but I am glad to just have a break for more than just a day here and there.
So there you have it. A busy itinerary for the days ahead. Ready, set, go and we are off!!
