For Sale....

I really hadn't ever anticipated putting our house up for sale. But, things change and opportunities arise. Therefore, after pouring 10 years of blood, sweat, tears and love into our home, it is for sale. I REALLY hesitated to post any of these pictures because they do absolutely NOTHING for the true beauty of the home and surroundings. Our home was built in 1864 and was originally a stagecoach stop, then becoming a railroad stop in a town called Adams. It is the last remaining structure in Adams, a town that obviously no longer exists. It is rich with history...if walls could talk there would be tales to tell.

It is located exactly 10 miles from the bypass (going west of town). The property is 12.5 acres and is less than 1/4 of a mile off the hardsurface road. House has had a lot of renovation in the last ten years. Has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a new kitchen with stainless steel, hardwood, Bertch cabinets, Corian countertops, whole house has new carpet, central air in 2007, furnace unit in 2006, a new 40x45 heated garage with a bathroom, and two additional outbuildings. There are just too many details to list, but if you or someone you know would like to see it, just give me a call, leave a comment or shoot me an email. It will be for sale by owner for awhile and then will go on the market.

Again, these pictures are not that good and I really hesitated to even put them up. But I guess this is a place to start getting the word out.

looking toward house from road, house is nestled in the trees and the building on the right side of the picture is the garage.
Outbuildings #2 and #3 and a silo which is of no use :)
view of backyard ( a portion of it anyway)
backside of house (house is constructed of brick, but has been stuccoed at some point--the addition on this side is a mudroom/laundry room/toyroom)
