Ahhh...home.

We just arrived home for the weekend. So thankful that my parents took us in for the week and so thankful that I have a home to come home to.

Lots to do around here. After leaving for a week it seems that everything needs attention. The lawn, the laundry, the cleaning, the horse, the dogs, the pool, the weeds...the list goes on. It's going to be busy around here this weekend, but we'll manage. And do it with grateful hearts as so many around us would love to have the opportunity to work at their homes, but instead look at the receding water and hope that maybe something will be salvageable.

I'm off to take a walk to see how things are looking in the neighborhood today and then home to grill some pork chops.

Looking forward to staying home a couple of days. It's been a hectic week.
