Still just a bit of work to be done on this bathroom that turned into a much bigger project than anticipated. Still have to have the guy out to finish the ceiling. And, the flooring will remain as is as long as this place is for sale. If it doesn't sell and we end up staying than we will probably put in a new floor, but for now it will stay. These pictures don't really do it justice. It turned out very nice all things considered. I am forever indebted to those who helped me out, Dave, Jay, Kurt. Without them, I would probably still be plugging along, frustrated and ready to pull my hair out. And yes, the exposed brick will remain exposed. Old house people, I know you understand. Everyone else, I'm sure you think this is a little too far on the rustic side. But, I love it. There is so, so much that I will miss about this place.....

LOVE it!
and my favorite part??
the exposed brick, for sure!!!
great color, too.
good job heather!
That is beautiful! And I'd be so sad if you covered that brick!
Love your way of thinkin' girls! Honestly, the brick was one of the major attractions in this home for us when we bought it 11 years ago. Our whole kitchen is exposed, one wall of the bathroom and two walls in Colby's room. We love it and would never change it. But, I am amazed at how many people that look at it are turned off by it--wanting to know if they can sheetrock over it or paint it, etc. I think either you are an 'old house' person or a 'new house' person and it is difficult to appreciate the other side. I am definately an oldie and despite all the trouble they can be at times--it is still worth it!
ok, so when are you coming over again for WHINE and remodel??? Your bathroom looks fab!!! and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of it! Nice!! Wish I could take it off of your hands?!!! :( donna g
