This little one looks pretty tiny out there on the big field with the big boys. Never would have thought we would be traveling around watching this boy play ball at 6 years old. It's a dream come true for him. He had a couple good games on Sunday. He's getting the bat on the ball and gaining confidence every day. Most of the boys are on the team are about 2 years older than him. But, he gets it, he loves it, and I love to watch these boys.

And yes, the field was full of dandelions, not mowed, infield was rock, there was a playground in the outfield, and the closest restroom was the Dairy Queen about 4 miles away. Makes me appreciate even more the quality, the hard work and committed effort that gets put into our fields.
