Colby was so excited about her field trip today. All of the first grade classes went to the Quad City Botanical Garden and to John Deere. She enjoyed climbing into the big tractors and brought home a plant from the botanical garden. She said the best part was not having to spend any time at school today. I don't think it would have mattered where they went, she was just glad to have a fun day outside of the classroom. I took her picture this morning because she was just so darn cute and excited about her day (although, I know, she desparately needs a haircut! We're patiently awaiting her appointment :). Overall it was a good day for all of us--no crabby kids, no major mishaps and a nice day. Glad I don't have anything negative to share today!
