In Picasa it is in 'Effects' and called 'focal b&w'. It will turn the picture b/w then you can move the cursor to what you want to remain colored. Then you can make the area smaller or larger. I'm not sure what it would be called in other photo editing programs. Hope that helps! (I especially like it when I have pictures of the kids with flowers--just having the flowers colored and everything else b/w is very cool :)

I'm a friend of Pam's... How do you do the color effects... mostly black and white with a few color accents? I can't figure this out!
