A New Chapter

Things change. New journeys begin. We are so very happy to announce that the book of our lives is beginning a new chapter. On Monday Greg will be starting a new job. One that he has longed for and made a tremendous effort in getting. It has been the center of our prayers for several years. He has worked his last day at GPC and will be starting at Muscatine Power and Water on Monday. I am so happy for him, for our family and for this new opportunity.

We will be re-learning how to live as a complete family. For the last 11 years I have learned to live life very independently and after the kids were born we all learned what it was like to miss Greg with all we had and how to enjoy the far too few hours we had together. It was a rare treat to pull in the drive at night and find him home. But, we adjusted and made the most of our situation. It wasn't ideal, I don't think I will wish it back, but we will have a new routine to learn and I know that it will take some adjusting for all of us. We are up to the challenge and ready to embark on our new journey.....the answer to a million prayers.
