update

Things are going as good as can be expected with Colby. She is having minimal pain and discomfort. We go back Tuesday for new xrays to see if all of the bones are staying where they are supposed to and are still aligned properly. We pray that they are because if they have shifted, well, you know the rest of that story.

She went outside last night at dusk to watch Dave and Jay play StickyBall for about 30 minutes or so. By the time we went back in the heat had caused her to itch something fierce inside her cast. Not good.

So, we have to find things for her to do that 1. don't involve water 2. don't involve heat and 3. don't involve using her right hand (she's right handed). So, activities will be pretty limited this summer.

If anyone has any ideas for fun that meets the above criteria please let me know. Or if you would like to rescue her for a day just for a change of scenery I'm sure she would be up to that too. I can only handle so many movies and shopping trips :)
