Precious

This afternoon we picked up Colby's homework from the past week. In her bag of stuff were get-well cards from each of her classmates. It was just precious to read their kind words to her. They all said they missed her, wished her well, some said that she was pretty, many said BFF, some made suggestions on how to get better, etc. etc. Four little girls made posters to send to her too. She was so happy and felt so loved! She even made each one of them a thank you card.

It is amazing how simple acts of kindness can be felt so deeply in the heart. A card, a word of encouragement, a phone call, an email. During tough times these can be so meaningful. Her and I both experienced that first hand this week. The little things that mean so much....
