what next????

Colby went to Iowa City to check in with the doc today. She has had a fever off and on since Saturday afternoon and complained of a sore throat and was congested. She threw up this morning and her fever had gone up so I had Greg take her in to get checked.

She is a confirmed case of Influenza and is ordered quarantined until next Monday. No school, no daycare, no visitors. She did get to go home because she is still eating and drinking and sleeping well and her fever will go down with Motrin. I was reading today that sometimes Influenza will be the precursor to Pneumonia. So I am assuming that Creighton also had it and by the time we took him to the doctor on his 5th day of being sick that his pneumonia was the more evident diagnosis. He wasn't tested for Influenza.

So,I am working today and tomorrow while Greg is with her then I am off the rest of the week. At some point in the next two weeks we hope to have all illnesses conquered at our house.

Please pray that I somehow escape this and can stay well to take care of the kiddos. And next year....we are ALL getting flu shots!
